Leo is a bashful creature by nature. The poor teen is overly sensitive to the reactions and expressions of others. He lacks self confidence and often stutters or stumbles over his words if he becomes too anxious or concerned. The Hufflepuff is not ignorant towards his shyness and does try his best to talk to others but often times still becomes overwhelmed. He is both easily embarrassed by others actions as well as his own however would suffer through the embarrassment rather than ditch a friend. Even when seeing friends or those he admire, he may summon the courage to wave to them in sincere excitement before becoming embarrassed and hurrying away in case others see him. Although the puff can be diligent when studying, it never quite seems to show in the results. He more than makes up for this with his sincerity to do his very best.

His reluctance to become involved in emotional or physical confrontations makes him a coward. But despite his timid nature, if pushed too far the teen can fiercely guard his loyalties to the few he holds dear. He refuses to believe that someone could be evil enough to deserve pain and can be naive when it comes to approaching a situation based on emotions rather than logic. The boy is incapable of lying well to others and ends up wallowing in guilt if he does. He constantly worries about explaining himself properly. His problem lies in being unable to be completely upfront about his feelings although he may genuinely wish to. Ultimately, while he is socially challenged, Leo fears being left alone and hopes to be of one day memorable to his friends and peers.

✦ History :

Born to a pure-blood father and muggle-born mother, Leo's birthplace was in America. His parents, both alumni of Hogwarts, had moved to the country soon after graduating in the hopes of pursing their respected careers. His father worked in the American Ministry of Magic while his mother found work as a Healer in a nearby magical hospital. Together, the small family settled in a homely village near the Salem School of Magic in the hopes that their son would join its ranks when he became of age.

However, soon after Leo entered elementary school, conflict between the muggle and magical world in America began to draw concern to his family. As a ministry employee, his father was not a stranger to the rumors and political tension growing between the two worlds. When the conflicts began to take a turn for the worst and the rumors pick up, his father, out of fear for the safety of his family, convinced his wife to make the mutual decision to move back to Britain. He had considered taking up the offer of sanctuary in Hogsmeade but decided against making that decision as of yet and instead settled near his ancestral home. The man had hoped that Britain would somehow remain untouched from the tragic conflicts occurring all over the world.

Leo's parents bless their luck every day later when news later erupted over the critical state of America. Salem had ultimately closed its doors and the conflict had even forced the country to close off it's borders from allowing anyone in or out. The shock of seeing countries reach this state spurred his parents to re-consider moving closer to Hogwarts for safety precautions. Unfortunately, it seemed as though the conflict between the two communities was only continuing to rise even in Britain. After their son received his Hogwarts letter, his parents took the initiative to move closer to the outskirts of Hogsmeade where they would be under the safety of the protective wards. With the history of being the battleground of the Second Wizarding War, his parents strongly believed no place else could be safer.

The news of the growing magical and muggle conflict was a common topic around his household as his father had believed it was best to not be ignorant to the reality of it anymore. His mother, perhaps due to how close they had been to it in America and her own muggle heritage, had grown to become overprotective of her son. She often would guilt the young teen into staying close by her at all times and was hesitant to allow him anywhere near muggle areas on his own. Although her own family had been muggles, they had since cut ties with her when the conflict had grown worse. To cope with their rejection of not only her own magical heritage but also her son's, she turned all her attention onto him. As the only son, Leo often starved for the attention of others closer to him in age yet grew up without the experience of social interaction outside of his family. He cared deeply for his mother and easily fell victim to her guilty excuses to keep him isolated. The boy has yet to come to terms with his mother's control over his life and lacks the self-confidence to stand up to her properly.

Hogwarts, however, gave Leo the freedom that he needed as a break away from his mother to seek out his own relationships and independence. Before attending the school, his interactions with other children was almost limited to only that of his cousin, Sho. So far, Leo is enjoying his life at Hogwarts to the fullest and could never be happier. He has yet to get over his social anxiety and still shies away when he becomes too overwhelmed by the attention. The boy remains hopeful that he will continue to make more friends in the coming years.

Stance on the looming threat of the muggle world.
Leo avoids showing his knowledge about the current tension happening around the globe even though his father had done his best to keep his young son informed. The teen had the unfortunate privilege of meeting his mother's muggle family once while he was still very young. The reception they received for them was far from welcoming as they had been reluctantly hoping that their daughter would return to being 'normal' after finishing school. Further conflict between the two communities and the propaganda had soured their opinion about the magical community even further. After that single incident, it has become a taboo subject in the household. Leo, thanks to his parents own opinions, is fearful that no country will be safe from the conflict and is continuing to do his best to try and remain ignorant to those horrors.

[ Chocolate Frogs ]
Leo is actually allergic to pumpkin and grew up on chocolate frogs instead of pumpkin pasties.
He does not necessarily love eating the chocolate as much as simply gathering the cards in a collection.
He actually tries to avoid eating them after his parents gifted him with his pet. Sometimes he worries he might mistakenly take a bite of him instead..
As an avid buyer of chocolate frogs, he may often gift it to other people.
He...is not very good at catching the frog and often ends up chasing them around until a kind soul helps him.
Leo has a bad habit of opening several boxes at one time if he is too excited. This can cause mayhem if all the frogs leap out of his reach.
Can often find Leo by finding random frogs hopping around...( he does try to chase it down...)

[ Hufflepuff ]
Rayne ( PrinceDiem ) : One of his closest friends. Originally Leo mustered the courage to call out to the other short puff believing he had found a comrade to befriend and assumed they were around the same age...As it turns out Rayne is actually a 6th year...However, he did not find out about it until an awkward moment in the puff dorm. ;;; Due to her expressionless and more courageous personality, Leo often hides behind her ( even when he believed she was younger ) and will still accompany her through her embarrassing pranks even tho he would rather go run and hide...

Jamie ( Leafy-chwan ) : A seventh year puff that Leo instantly latched onto to idolize as the other teen has an outgoing and more social personality in comparison to Leo. Leo often goes to Jamie to ask for help as well with his assignments....although it seems that his studying with the older puff has yet to show any results and actually seems to be making his grades decline further...

Chris ( xkltran ) : Leo is still in shock that Chris is only a year older by how giant the teen is. Leo is secretly hoping that it is an indication he'll hit puberty soon..... The shorter puff also admires the upperclassman's academic abilities and may come to him in intervals between studying with Jamie. Thankfully it seems as though studying with Chris and Jamie has started to create a balance as where his grades have remained passable !

Sho ( 150degrees ) : His cousin that he sees during family holidays ! Although they do not see eachother often besides during then, Leo likes hanging out with him a lot. Thankfully after moving back to Britian he has been able to see him more often at Hogwarts. He is very happy that he has a relative around the same age of himself and can sometimes be...a little too annoying. They enjoy playing horror muggle video games together !

Mycroft ( kazechrno ) : He is still rather jumpy around the prefect although the teen has helped him out often. The poor boy still isn't used to Mycroft's tendencies to grab onto his scarf or hood to stop him from running away.

_{Spotting Leon in the halls, Tae-Joon couldn't help catching up to the younger Puff as he gently called out the the slightly taller male. "Leo..!" He let out an easy sigh from the short excursion and smiled, digging something out of his bag. "For you..!" Offering the blue and gold box of a chocolate frog he then remembered something, "Oh. I guess I'm doing this wrong though... Maybe I should ask you trick or treat first?" He grinned, embarrassed.}
