Description

[ Resources ] Faction Emblems by akiicchi

Map is not to scale. The buildings and scattered houses is just to give a visual idea of places that are inhabited. Your character is allowed to live anywhere ( that isn't considered inhabitable like the desert ) even if there are no buildings or housing drawn in that area. ( yes even though technically there is only one 'barn' drawn in the farm area, there are multiple farms ! )

If you have any questions, feel free to note the group or comment in the journals.

:bulletblack: The magic circle above Clow City is visible from all over the Kingdom.

Clow City
Clow City was reconstructed by Clow Reed eleven years ago as his first task to aid his people. Since then, it is known to be the most populated area of the kingdom. Homes and businesses occupy the circumference of the city walls as the Clow Tower is found in the center of the city. The most recognizable landmark in the city is a magic circle above the Clow Tower; rumour has it that it has a direct link to Clow Reed's magical powers and is a charm that protects the kingdom. The crime-rate is at a steady low during these peaceful times. Petty or minor crimes such as thievery is dealt with swiftly while serious crimes such as murder are almost unheard of. Keep in mind that the areas closest to Clow City may be within walking distances but further travel may take several days or more. Traveling from one end of the island to the opposite would take approximately 7 days at a moderate speed with no long rests. Horses or mules are often use for travel.

Clow Tower
Though it is named a tower, the interior resembles a castle with multiple floors and rooms, and is to be thought similarly to a city hall. The topmost floor, which is a 360 degree room made of windows, is generally where Clow Reed and the Elite Generals gather to keep an eye and scout for anything suspicious. They often meet there as a group for discussion. Just below that level are the meeting rooms sectioned off for each faction. Between that floor and the ground level is where the dorm rooms for in-house Warriors may choose to stay. All Warriors are assigned their own room whether they choose to live in it or not. Sharing a room is an option. However, they may not let anyone without access to these floors into their rooms without permission. One must have proper authority to enter these floors. The ground level acts as a publicly open lobby. Most of the city hall-like issues can be handled on this floor. Below ground floor are levels of training facilities that are only open to the army-ranked.

Northern Region
Farms, orchids and agriculture is mostly cultivated at the North. Rich farmland is present and a crop rotation system is used to harvest seasonal crops. There are also luscious plains where streams and rivers run through. Wild game including rabbits, birds, goats and boars are often found in this area. Occasionally, larger game may migrate from the South.

Western Region
The highlight of the West is the busy ports that run nearly 18 hours a day importing and exporting trading goods. Though the Clow Kingdom generally has a lot of fair trades, their greatest export would be crops, lumber/pulp and smaller items supporting businesses in Clow City. The most imported item would be metals and ores as the kingdom has a small reserve for their own mined goods. However, the kingdom never trades weaponry and the likes. Along the coast, a beach populated by huts are present.

Southern Region
The South consists of the most wilderness with rocky mountains and a dense forest. There are five peaks to the range of mountains and is estimated to be about 15,000 feet at its highest point. Snow is rarely seen upon the mountains, but occasionally falls during the winter. Most of the lumber exported is forested here with a conscious replanting system. Larger game including bears, wolves, deers and foxes are found in this area.

Eastern Region
The Eastern region is the most desolate and lacks active civilization. A hot sand desert takes up a small section of the East, bordering between the northern plains. Despite the small size, it is a dangerous and windy location known to have claimed many lives. However, there is a rumor of a temple being hidden in a veil of sandstorms at the center of the region. Bordering the desert, the nightmare of the former reign may still be found. The slums is known to house a few citizens, but no one dares to reconfirm this knowledge.
