• he tends to look...disgusted/upset with the situation ; he finds a lot of reasons to dislike something.
• well-mannered ideals, however doesn't speak like one. he instead tries to show it in his manners. ideals like 'never raise a hand towards a girl' no matter what happens, he'll just grin and bear it as much as he can. others including simple courtesies such as pulling out the chair or opening the door for a lady. Or shaking hands when you first met someone, having good table manners, and making sure his clothes is neatly done. his 'gentlemen' ideal is easily gone when his temper goes off though...;;
• his way of speaking may come off as rude or insensitive even when his intentions might be good. when it comes to people not taking things seriously / guys not acting like gentlemenespecially towards the ladies it'll set him off. he dislikes it when he thinks he's being made fun of or not taken seriously.
• he's serious when it comes to his job. as much as he has that 'respect' for those who try to change their fate, he is dead set with enforcing the rules. he dislikes flirts, and finds their flirting insulting if one tries to hit on him.
• he might seem...not very willing to get too personal with people. but if someone is nice to him, he does get happy. just doesn't show his appreciation well. /brick'd
History:
Noel was born into the Spade Fraction, his parents being criminals living there. He never knew much about the crimes that they did create, only that they did and that is the reason for why they lived there. Since from a young age, he had always looked up to his older brother who by definition was a 'proper gentlemen.' But no matter how hard he tried to be just like his calm, patient brother, Noel was the type to get angered too quickly. He was too easily angered, and found it hard to admit his faults or say things nicely when he was embarrassed. His childhood was relatively normal, they grew up a happy family and when his parents passed away, and only he and his brother remained together. His older brother showed him that despite them being Spade citizens, they could still try to defy the tendency to be 'criminals' and find another way out of there. However, his brother's view point changed when he fell in love with a member of the Hearts Fraction. A young duchess. His brother was the perfect candidate, well-mannered, hard-working, and more than willing to do anything for the girl. But the difference between what he believed made them on equal standing was much different then hers and her parents. They couldn't risk tainting their pure blood with that of a criminals. His brother was rejected, humiliated by them. The ideals he was so proud of crumbling over the realization that all he had strived to be made no difference now. Noel couldn't do anything but watch his brother spiral down into madness, he was too obsessed with the idea of changing his role by marrying the love of his dreams. Finally driven to the edge, his brother took matters into his own hands and decide to commit a grave crime. He didn't care if he was locked up forever for this or what would happen to Noel once he was gone, Wonderland's 'reality' was just too much for him. His brother's last resort was to crush the girl's clock.
Noel never saw his brother again after that. The last he heard was the news of the girl's death and the 'arrest' of his brother. It was a disheartening reality to Noel, how easily someone could fall once their dreams are 'gone'. Wonderland had rules, rules that no matter what could never be broken. He wished his brother had never tried to attempt to break those rules, wished that he didn't encourage him either by looking up to him. Rules were kept to stop such things like what happened to his brother from happening. If his brother stayed and obeyed the rules then he would still be here. A long distant dream to admire those who tried to change their fate remained from all those years with his brother, but the new stronger sense of keeping things as they were was more. That is where the new ideals were Noel. He wanted to enforce the rules, be harsh on those who want to break them, the rules were there to keep things 'safe'. Even if the 'safety' was a cage around every citizen, at least they would be 'safe'.
More years passed him by, and he wasted his time away in the Spade Fraction, unhappy that he couldn't get closer to his ideal, waiting for some kind of opportunity. He wasn't sure why he was chosen or by whom, but the day his role changed and his age stopped, Noel took a step closer towards his dream.
Additional Info:
• Noel sides with the black members of the Joker fraction because of his support, even awe of her since she 'defies' the rules of Wonderland. This mainly has to do with his past, and more importantly what occurred with his older brother.
• since he can travel to the real world, he enjoys going up there a lot just to wander around.
• likes to spend time eating new foods. never fast food though, but he does like home cook meals too as long as effort was put into it.
• likes drinking different kinds of teas to be paired with certain foods.
• he doesn't have many things of his brothers left, most he burned. the earrings he wears was a gift from his brother.
• Noel doesn't have a last name, since he never knew it. His parents never mentioned it, and said they 'discarded' using it because it reminded them of the crimes they committed.
